Arcade Bar and Restaurant Bringing Fun and Games To Temecula

Coin-Op Game Room/Gaslamp Coin-Op Game Room, San Diego’s homegrown arcade bar and restaurant with locations in North Park and the Gaslamp, is building its fifth overall location in Temecula. Occupying the entire ground floor of a brand new building in Old Town Temecula, Coin-Op will span 5,700-square-feet which includes a 1,200-square-foot patio. The historic district is a hub for dining and nightlife, known for its wooden boardwalks and western-inspired storefronts. Coin-Op’s Temecula outpost will take cues from Coney Island, the iconic East Coast amusement park. Founder Roy A. Ledo, who also runs The Lion’s Share under management company Sporting Fraternity, Inc., says he’s looking forward to bringing “another level of entertainment and hospitality” to the area, which attracts both locals and tourists to its nearby wine region. The design, by COO Carlos Valente, will feature neon lighting, a carousel element, and carnival-themed artwork.
Longtime staffer Peter Riccobono has transplanted from Sacramento to Temecula to serve as managing partner. Opening this September, Coin-Op will deliver a mix of retro classic and modern arcade games and a lineup of craft beer and cocktails. Its menu, by CEO Mark Bolton, ranges from shareable bar snacks to sandwiches and pizza.
